How do I join the Long Beach - Pier 9 Alumni Chapter?

To become a member, please complete the membership form by clicking here. A payment of $20 for membership dues is also required. For more information on how to pay, please refer to the section below.

How much are dues? How do I pay?

Dues are $20. Cash, check, and Venmo payments are accepted.

Cash: Cash payments may be paid during the annual general meeting or at any fraternal event hosted by Long Beach-Pier 9.

Check: Please make checks payable to "Delta Sigma Pi Long Beach Pier 9." Checks may be turned in at events in person or mailed. For mailing instructions, please email lbpier9ac@gmail.com.

Can I be a member of more than one alumni chapter?

Yes! In accordance to Delta Sigma Pi's Policy & Procedures, an alumnus may join more than one alumni chapter. However, you must designate one chapter as your primary. If a member of more than one alumni chapter does not designate a primary chapter, it will be assumed that the chapter closest by proximity is primary.

What is the time commitment?

The only time commitment to joining the alumni chapter is however much time you are willing to put in. There is only one required annual general meeting where a new Executive Committee is elected and membership may be renewed. All events held throughout the year by the chapter or the Fraternity are not mandatory. However, we highly encourage coming out to events to fully take advantage of your membership and all its opportunities.

Are friends or family welcome at events?

We always welcome family and friends to join in on the fun at our events.
